#1: Check for the connectivity:
The very first thing, which you need to check, is the connectivity of the network on whatever device you are using. You need to make sure it has a stable internet connection with good speed to make a video call.
#2: Permissions in settings:
We usually use different microphones on our laptop or computer and we do not even notice it until we are stuck somewhere. Different devices require permissions each time you plug in a new device. In order to access the permission, you need to go to settings, go-to sources, now click on the menu to choose your desired sources. Once you have selected them click on the done option to save these settings – you can also test your video and speaker, click on ‘play-test sound’ – and done.

If video calling is still unavailable, try using voice call. You can restart the duo app. Go to your device settings, select Google Play Store, tap on manage Android Preferences, Select Apps, select Duo and choose to force stop it.
